AMC researcher awarded lectureship in Glasgow on history of Scots

P1030212

Dr Joanna Kopaczyk, former lecturer at Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznań, current researcher at the AMC, future lecturer at the University of Glasgow.

The AMC announces with equal measures of delight and sadness that Dr Joanna Kopaczyk will be leaving at the end of July to take up a lectureship at the University of Glasgow. She has been a part of the research team on the From Inglis To Scots (FITS) Project, helping map the sound-spelling relations in some of the earliest Scots documents. We are, of course, absolutely thrilled that Joanna has found a position in which her long-standing interest in Scots can continue to play a central role. We will, however, miss her very much.
