It is with great pleasure that we announce the first AMC Symposium, to be hosted by the Angus McIntosh Centre for Historical Linguistics at the University of Edinburgh on 9-10 June 2016. The 2016 event will focus broadly on the theme of historical dialectology, with no restrictions to particular languages or historical periods.
The AMC Symposium’s plenary speakers will be:
- Professor Michael Benskin (University of Oslo)
- Dr Margaret Laing (Honorary Fellow, University of Edinburgh)
- Professor Roger Lass (Honorary Professorial Fellow, University of Edinburgh)
