The 2014/2015 Angus McIntosh Prize goes to Asha Stewart

Asha Stewart, the 2014/15 Angus McInthosh Prize recipient

The AMC would like to congratulate Ms. Asha Stewart, our first recipient of the Angus McIntosh Prize. This honour is awarded by the AMC’s Steering Committee to the best First Class Honours dissertation in Linguistics and/or English Language at the University of Edinburgh. The Prize is worth £100.

Asha’s dissertation, entitled ‘Accounting for the emergence of referentiality from musical protolanguage: a role for cultural evolution’, can be accessed here.
