AMC works with National Library of Scotland to bring Older Scots to the Public

Last autumn, Daisy Smith, Maddi Morcillo Berrueta and Lisa Gotthard — then postgraduate students at Edinburgh — produced a linguistic guide to the language of the 15th-century Scots poem ‘The Buke of the Howlat’ for the National Library of Scotland’s Wee Windaes (‘Little Windows’) website. To promote the students’ work (accessible from https://wee-windaes.nls.uk/docs/buke-howlat.pdf), the Library has recently published this postcard in Scots and in English.
